The café's opening hours are based on those of the WAI Woods Art Institute. Typically, it's on weekends (Sat./Sun.) from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visits are only possible with a valid admission ticket or a WAI season pass.

Born in Miami and raised in Marbella and Hamburg, Bowen is the host and creative mind behind Schön hier. After several stints in Hamburg's gastronomy scene – including at „Blattgold“ and „Hygge The Farm“ – he expresses his personal vision of holistic hospitality with Café Schön hier: homemade, seasonal, and with a generous portion of heart.
